They say time flies when you are having fun and I guess I agree with them in a way. I cant believe its nearly two months since the last time I posted, all I can say its been an eventful 2 months.A lot has gone down in my life since then and I can tell you the exams I was talking about then, well I passed all of them. I am well proud of myself and each time I look back at where I've come from and how so many people have sacrificed to have me where I am today it makes me work even harder. You can ask why and I will tell you that I dont want to dissappoint people, my mother has made the most sacrifices for me and my siblings and she continues to, even to this day. I am on easter break at university, this gives me the chance to catch up on my university work a bit and get some rest but again they say "there is no rest for the wicked" and that is not to be taken in its literal sense. Well I was talking to one of my good friends from high school the other day,He is persuing his studies in the West Midlands town of Birmingham and we were just reflecting back to the high school days when I used to play football for the first team. I just want to thank him for the faith he has in my talents, I hope its not too late for me to do something about that.
Well the Zimbabwean elections are coming up in less than a weeks time and I was speaking to my brother on the phone a few nightsd ago(you can only make call at night nowadays coz then you have a bit of a better chance of getting through).Anyway he was telling me how peaceful and quite the atmosphere is at the moment, I take it more like the lull before the storm. I Pray, I keep my fingers crossed, I live in faith I cry, I do everything I can to help the situation in Zimbabwe.I hope something positive comes out of the elections coz to tell the truth the Zimbabwean economy is on its last legs but one thing I know is that it will take a lot to kill the resolve in a Zimbabwean person,we as a nation got such a strong spirit and the system can beat us but can never break us.
Well gotta hit the road now.I am meeting friends at their house then we going out for deinks or something.At least I can afford to go out and get hammered(not that I got cash but jus that I aint got noowhere to be tomoro so I can afford a hangover ha ha ha).Anyway its check out time.Peace
